This 200 year old stone palace, eyes turned towards the sea, with a heart that lurks; as sometimes women seafarers with terrace greeted their husbands who are in the dawn part… again yearns for life.

Some of the sailors, they never even came back, threw the anchor somewhere else. For those who have returned to their palaces were childhood, they told stories about Peljesac in every port they were.

They brought souvenirs and stories about new cultures, valuable jewelry for their wives, and valuable paintings that decorate the rest of their high walls.

 

This house also has its own story.

She built her family Guricheva, who had two daughters.

Both fall in love with further Orebic captains (Stuk and Kovacevic), and their parents come for them and built this house, where she lived a daughter who married Captain Stuk.

Today, the street is called Guricheva.

But the owner, a descendant of the famous Captain Stuk, and she’s also married to a seafarer.

 

In the house there are valuable old paintings, featuring of ships. You can feel the spirit of sailors.

The stone, which is a fundamental part of the palace, he did not lose the warmth of the old customs of Peljesac, although faded still fascinated by its beauty.

The house has a living room with terrace, large lounge, 6 bedrooms, bathroom, utility room, large garden behind and in front of the house… that can be converted into a gallery with a view.

 

Even today there is a custom that ships passing through the Peljesac Channel famous place of captains. Trumpets welcome greeting to all seafarers.
